It's time to listen

The Government is looking to actively engage students in Primary and Secondary schools in policy making processes. They want to encourage a dialogue with young people that will inform educational policy and planning. The Government wants to find effective ways of giving students a voice, and the DfES has started a pilotproject, called “Student Voice”, with a small group of pioneer schools. The Pilot will help define future consultation and collaboration with learners.
THE QUESTION
Charles Clarke, the Secretary of State for Education, has written to ask the students for their advice. To start with he has asked:
“How can new technologies best be used in school and at home to help your learning?”
We invite you to join the Student Voice Project, to discuss the question and to make your voice heard by the decision makers.
